On 29th October 2009 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Chiang Mai, 23 therapists from different spas around Chiang Mai were presented with their Lanna Exotic Massage certificates. The ceremony was arranged by the Thai Lanna Spa Association and presided over by their president Pakin Ployphicha. After the ceremony the celebrations continued in the form of a lovely pink themed party. This was made possible thanks to Elaine Yue, the general manager of the Shangri-La Hotel in Chiang Mai. The highlight of the party was the spa gift vouchers which were given out by Chi Spa to the four best dressed guests. This brought a lot of joy and laughter.
